Eligible Grade

4세~성인( 4 Age~ Adult)으로 학급별 정원제를 실시합니다

4 years old to adult (fixed number of seats available per class)

수업기간

School  period

*1년 32주(2012 가을학기-16주, 2013 봄학기-16주)

*2012년 9월 8일~ 2013년6월  9일

 *  32 weeks per school year(  16 weeks during the fall of 2012 and 16 weeks during the spring of 2013)

*  September 8^th, 2012 ~ June 9^th, 2013 

학급편성

Class Placement

진단평가로 한글 수준 평가 후 수준별, 연령별로 나누어 학급을 구성합니다.

 The classes are divided by students’ age and further divided into each student’s proficiency (beginner, intermediate, advanced). 

성인반

   Adult class

*본교는 워싱턴한국교육원에서 지원하는 성인반 한국어 강좌를 운영하고

 있습니다.

*성인반은 따로 학급 편성하여 지도하오니 많은 지원 바랍니다

*Adult classes will be separated from children’s classes

* The curriculum is based on the Korean Education Center in Washington DC’s (KECDC) recommendations.  

수업시간

Class Schedule:

매주 토요일 오전 9시~오후 1시 (Saturday at 9:00 AM ~1:00 PM)

9:00 AM ~ 1:00 PM on Saturdays

수업내용

Course work

*한국어(말하기, 듣기, 읽기, 쓰기), 한국문화, 역사

*특별활동(태권도,무용,사물놀이,색종이 어린이 급수반-외부강사 초빙,

         미술, 음악, 한자 , 수학, 글짓기, 연극, 동화구연, 시낭송,

         SAT2 등을 학년별로 조정하여 지도합니다.)

*  Korean(Speaking, listening, reading, and writing), Korean culture and history

*Extracurricular activities include: Taekwondo, Korean traditional dance, Korean traditional percussion, color paper folding (we will invite an outside expert), art, music, Chinese characters, mathematics, compositions, dramas, story-telling, poetry readings, SAT2, etc – are offered.

5^th period (12:10~13:00): Extracurricular activities

등 록 금

Annual Tuition

*1년($380)-1st학생($380), 2nd학생($360), 3rd 학생($340)

*외부강사 초빙 특별활동은 1년에 $80 tution fee가 있습니다.

*8월19일 이후에 등록하시면 $20의 Late Fee가 붙습니다.

*조기 등록-6월 2일까지 등록하는 재학생에게 $20 할인 혜택 있습니다

*납부한 등록금은 환불되지 않고 Credit으로 줍니다

*   $380 per student for one year   Within family 2^nd student will be $360 

  and the 3^rd student is $340

* Extracurricular activities that require an outside expert will require $80    additional to the tuition

*   Registration after 8/19/12 will require late fee $20.

*  Early registration (before 6/2/12) for the current students will be given $20  discount

*  The annual tuitions are not refunded and only given in credit.

날씨로 인한 휴교

Inclement Weather Guidelines

폭설 등 불가피한 사유가 있을 때는Fairfax County 규정에 따라 공립학교 휴교일은 동일하게 휴강합니다.

 All classes will be cancelled when the Fairfax County’s schools are closed
